Welcome! On October 31st & November 1st 2009, Ballandean State School will be celebrating 100 years of education excellence.
Since opening its doors in January 1909, the school has grown over from its humble beginnings of fourteen students and one teacher, to over eighty students with sixteen full-time and part-time teaching and support staff.
Our school is the heart of the Ballandean community, providing students with the skills to progress towards the full attainment of their potential as individuals and as successful and responsible members of society. We promote respect for ones self, respect and tolerance of other races, religions and ways of life. We exist for our students.
Over the coming months, there will be much work to be done. This website will serve as a portal for community members, past students and teachers of Ballandean State School to keep up to date with any happenings in the preperation for the celebration our centenary.
We encourage you to look through our site, and return regularly for any updates.
